what one works better or is better…regular ipods or nano ipods? do they get slow if you keep alot of songs on them?

Is Apple using same sound cards for different ipods?

I am planning to buy a new mp3 player and I think I will go for ipod again – I have an extensive itunes library and i don’t want to hassle of converting to a new system.

My question is whether the sound quality of different ipods are the same or not? if they are same i’d opt for a nano (either a 6th or 7th gen). But if classis sounds better, i’ll probably go for that. I mean e sizes are so different that they should have a difference right?
