Today on my birdfeeder in my backyard, I saw two black birds.?

Each one had a horizontal strip of white around the wing area. (The rest of the bird was black.) They kind of looked like crows to me but, after some research, I couldn’t find out what these birds are called. Anyone know? I live in SE Louisiana. Thanks!

    What happened to the Junco's and all the birds that used to come to our backyard?

    We used to have hundreds of birds come to our yard, about 3 years ago we had this blue crystalline stuff stuck to all the leaves and branches as far as you looked, and the birds only landed on fences and ate out of trash cans, and no longer landed on the grass, they wouldn’t eat the food we put out for them until we put it on a piece of cardboard. Since that time, few birds come, we have only seen 3 Junco’s, though they used to come by the hundreds. Where are the birds?

    Should we take down this birds nest in our backyard?

    Okay, we noticed these birds creating a bird nest in our backyard and we watched them build it and thought about how amazing it was. The fact that they built this nest out of basically spit and dry grass was insane but the nest is located right next to the patio door and now we cant go into our backyard because when we do it becomes a scene from THE BIRDS. I don’t want to take it down because i would feel like im messing with nature but its been two weeks and we cant go into our backyard. The worst part is I looked up how long their egg to flying span is and it would seem im going to be without a backyard for the next month. I dont know what to do. Please tell me what would be the best thing to do in this situation. The birds are swallows.

    Is shooting squirrels or birds with a bebe gun and killing them illegal in Georgia?

    My IGNORANT step brother got a bebe gun for his birthday and he shoots innocent squirrels and birds in our backyard and sometimes killing them or seriously injuring them. His stepdad approves of it and I really hate them sooo much….

    How can I scare my neighbor cat away because the cat ate the birds and left ugly sights?

    I feed birds in my backyard and the cat knows where to find its meals.
    But… I don’t want to trap the cat. I just want to scare, like some kind of sounding device that annoys/bothers the cat’s hearing so it won’t come back. If you know any of this device, please let me know where to get it.

      The birdbaths in the garden are in constant use at the moment. The colder the weather, the more the birds seem to want to bathe as well as drink. It is hard work keeping it full of fresh water as the outside water is frozen.
