I feed the birds in my back yard. I love it and do not want to stop. However, my neighbor says the bird droppings in her yard are making her dogs sick. It is true, I have done the research, they are getting a parasite from the droppings. Anyway, she wants me to stop feeding the birds. I am worried sick about this. I love feeding the birds. I don’t want to make her mad, she is a nice lady. I really don’t know what to do. Does anyone know if I can add medicated chicken feed to the seed I feed the birds? This feed kills the parasite in chickens, but would it harm the birds? Any advice would help. What should I do. By the way, she has 6 dogs, 3 outside (fenced in) and 3 inside (only come in yard to go potty). She says the medicine to treat the parasite is 0 a dog and that is spreads from one dog to another and she can’t afford to pay all that money.
Why do I have to stop my hobby, when she has done nothing to fix the problem on her end? She just expects me to stop doing something I love? Maybe she should move her dogs?
